The Bradgate Inclusion Centre is an Enhanced Resource Base for students with communication and interaction difficulties, anxiety and sensory differences, usually associated with ASD.
The space comprises three main spaces: office space, intervention room and the main room. The main room is ‘zoned’: learning space, relaxing space and eating space; additional space is provided for staff planning.
Toilet facilities, lockers and a kitchen are all included in the area and the outdoor space has been enhanced with benches.
An outdoor ‘sports sanctuary’ is under development.
Primarily for students with EHCPs, allocated by County Hall, provision has been made for complex students who are on the EHCP Pathway from within the Trust Secondary Schools.
All students are taught a broad and balanced curriculum, including ASDAN (CoPE) and the CREST Award.
Students have started to develop the ‘Bradgate Garden’.
Bradgate Inclusion Centre is currently undergoing development and a new bespoke area with the grounds of Wreake Valley will be open soon.
Please check back for more information over the coming weeks.
