Students are able to purchase a wide variety of hot and cold food from the kitchen at both break and lunchtime. Different meals are served each day, on a seasonal three-week programme. Payment is made via their student ID/lunch card, which can be topped up with funds in the Arbor app or website using your credit or debit card.
Items are priced individually and there are also both hot and cold daily ‘meal deals’ priced at £2.85.
Please remind your child that they should have sufficient funds on their card before purchasing. Their current balance can be checked on the valuation machine in school; and parents can check the current balance in Arbor.
Free School Meals
If your child is in receipt of Free School Meals, their card is topped up with £2.85 in the morning (the cost of a meal deal) and any unspent daily allowance is removed at the end of the day. Daily purchases over £2.85 are chargeable and are paid for via Arbor.
Currently, all children registered under the Free School Meals scheme also receive food vouchers worth at least £15.00 per week during holiday periods.

Dietary requirements / Food allergies and intolerances
Please ensure that you keep your child’s Arbor record updated with any dietary requirements or food intolerances. A vegetarian/vegan option will be available each day as standard. However, if your child has a food allergy or intolerance the Allergy and Intolerance Form (above) must be completed and returned to the School Office, along with a referral letter from a medical professional, so that an appropriate alternative option can be provided.
