Our curriculum has at its heart the desire to support the ambitions of all our students. It develops the skills and knowledge which will allow them to become confident lifelong learners and delivers outcomes which will enable them to make choices about their future.
Our curriculum is:
- broad and balanced
- rigorous – setting challenge for all and embodying aspiration
- coherent – offering progression at each stage
- appropriate – for the age of the students studying it
- relevant – because it delivers outcomes and experiences which are important to the students and parents in our community.
All students spend one lesson each week studying our Personal Development programme which promotes all aspects of personal and social development; health and wellbeing; and citizenship. Assemblies and registration time activities support this development of our students as independent, tolerant, global citizens.
